Danish almond cake with chocolate glaze in the Air Fryer

This Danish almond cake is perfectly baked in an air fryer, giving a delightfully moist cake with a rich almond flavour, topped with a delicious chocolate glaze.
Preheat the air fryer to 160°C.(Pre-program it, or let it run for a few minutes before cooking.)
Grease the springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
Making the dough:
Coarsely grate 200 g marzipan into a mixing bowl.
Add 200 g sugar and softened 200 g butter, and beat well together until creamy.
Add 4 pcs eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each egg.
Mix 100 g wheat flour and 1 tsp baking powder, and sift it into the batter. Gently fold it together with a dough scraper until the batter is smooth.
Baking:
Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan, and smooth the surface with a spatula.
Place the pan in the air fryer and bake the cake at 160°C for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.Start the online kitchen timer here
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before gently loosening the edge and removing the cake from the pan. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
Chocolate butter glaze:
Melt 100 g dark chocolate and 50 g butter together over a double boiler or in the microwave.
Stir well until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
Spread the chocolate glaze over the cooled cake and let it set.
Notes
- The cake can be decorated with chopped almonds or berries for extra decoration.- Make sure the cake is completely cool before applying the glaze, to prevent it from melting.
