This recipe shows you how to prepare a perfectly juicy and tender entrecôte steak using an air fryer. The dish requires minimal preparation and is both quick and easy to make.
Pat the 4 pcs entrecôte steaks dry with kitchen paper and rub them with 2 tbsp olive oil.
Mix 2 clove garlic, 1 tsp rosemary, 1 tsp thyme, 1 pinch salt and pepper in a bowl, and gently rub the spices into the meat.
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes. (Pre-program it, or let it run for a few minutes before cooking)
Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 200°C for approx. 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.Start the online kitchen timer here Check the temperature with a meat thermometer: 55°C for rare, and 60°C for medium.
Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5, maximum 7 minutes before serving.
Serve with 1 tbsp butter on top and optional sides.
Notes
- The steaks can be marinated for up to 24 hours for extra flavour.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the desired level of doneness.
