This graham bread in the air fryer is an easy and quick way to bake a fresh, tasty loaf without having to turn on the oven. The graham bread gets a lovely, crisp crust and a soft, airy crumb, making it perfect for breakfast, sandwiches or as a side to your meals.
Mix 250 g graham flour, 1 pack dry yeast (7 g) and 1 tsp salt in a large bowl.
Add 150 ml lukewarm water, 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp honey or sugar to the dry ingredients and knead the dough thoroughly until it is smooth and elastic.You can use a dough hook on a stand mixer for this.
Shape the dough into a loaf and let it rest, covered, in the bowl for about 30 minutes, until it has risen.
Preheat your air fryer to 180 °C.(Pre-program it, or let it run for a couple of minutes before cooking)
Place the bread on a piece of baking paper and lower it carefully into the air fryer basket.
Bake the bread at 180 °C for about 20-25 minutes, or until it is golden and baked through.Start the online kitchen timer here
Let the bread cool on a rack before slicing it.
Notes
-You can add seeds or nuts to the dough for extra flavour and texture.-If the bread browns too quickly, cover it with a piece of aluminium foil.-Air fryers can vary in efficiency, so keep an eye on the bread during the last few minutes of baking.
