A delicious and easy pear upside-down cake, perfect to make in the air fryer. The cake is both moist and lightly caramelised, with a fantastic flavour from the ripe pears and caramel.
Melt 50 g butter in a small saucepan, and add 50 g soft brown sugar.
Stir until it caramelises slightly.
Spread the caramel over the bottom of the baking tin and arrange 4 pcs pears (ripe, peeled and cut into slices) on top in a decorative pattern.
Cake
Beat 100 g butter and 100 g sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add 2 pcs eggs one at a time.
Sift 100 g plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp vanilla sugar into the batter, and add ½ dl milk.
Stir the batter together until smooth.
Pour the batter over the pears and smooth the surface.

Let the cake rest in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a plate.

Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
