Instructions
Cut the
500 g pork scratchings
into suitable pieces, if they aren't already cut.
(Optional) Pre-boil the pork scratchings in lightly salted
5 dl water
for about 10 minutes, then let them dry thoroughly.
Rub the pork scratchings with
2 tbsp coarse salt
and, if you like,
1 tsp baking powder
for extra crispiness.
Place the pork scratchings in the air fryer in a single layer, so they don't overlap.
Set the air fryer to 200°C and cook for 20-30 minutes.

Shake the basket halfway through for even cooking.
When the pork scratchings are golden and crispy, remove them and place them on kitchen paper to remove excess fat.
Serve after 5 minutes as a snack or side dish.
Notes
Make sure the pork scratchings are completely dry before cooking, to achieve maximum crispiness.
Pork scratchings can be seasoned further with, for example, paprika, chilli or garlic powder, to taste.
