Pumpkin Purée:

Pie Crust:

Instructions
Pumpkin Purée:
Cut
500 g pumpkin
into quarters and remove the seeds.
Place the pumpkin pieces on a silicone mat, skin side up.
Bake them in your airfryer at 180°C for approx. 30 minutes.
Start the online kitchen timer here
Take them out and let them cool slightly.
Scrape the flesh out of the skins and blend it finely in a blender.
Prepare the Pie Crust:
Roll out
1 pcs pie dough
and place it in the pie dish.
Prick the base with a fork.
Make the Filling:
Mix the pumpkin purée,
2 pcs eggs
,
150 g sugar
,
1 tsp cinnamon
,
½ tsp ground ginger
,
¼ tsp ground cloves
and
200 ml cream
in a bowl.
Stir well until the mixture is smooth.
Assemble the Pie:
Pour the pumpkin filling into the pie dish over the pie dough.
Baking:
Preheat the airfryer to 160°C.
(Use the preheat function, or let it run for a few minutes before cooking.)
Carefully place the pie dish in the airfryer.
Bake the pie for approx. 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set and golden.

Cooling:
Take the pie out of the airfryer and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve the pie with a dollop of whipped cream or crème fraîche.
- The pumpkin purée can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge.
