Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.(Pre-program it, or let it run for a couple of minutes before cooking)
Score the rind on 1 kg pork roast with rind at 1 cm intervals with a sharp knife.Make sure to cut only into the rind, not into the meat.
Rub the roast well with 2 tbsp Coarse salt and 1 tbsp Black pepper.
Place the roast in the air fryer basket with the rind side up.
Roast the pork in the air fryer at 200°C for about 40 minutes.Click here to start the online kitchen timerCheck with a meat thermometer that the meat reaches an internal temperature of at least 75°C.
Let the roast rest for 10 minutes before carving.
