Enjoy an exclusive dinner with venison fillet cooked in an air fryer. This recipe brings depth and flavour to the dish with a simple marinade and a quick cooking method that ensures a juicy and flavourful result every time.
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.(Pre-programme it, or let it run for a couple of minutes before cooking)
Trim the 500 g venison fillet and pat it dry with kitchen paper.
Mix the 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp coarse salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp rosemary and 2 clove garlic in a small bowl.
Rub the marinade thoroughly into the whole fillet.
Place the venison fillet in the air fryer basket and set the timer to 15-20 minutes, depending on how well-done you want the meat.Start the online kitchen timer here
Turn the fillet halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
When the air fryer is done, let the fillet rest for 10 minutes before serving.
