Place the 1 pcs medisterpølse (Danish pork sausage) in the air fryer basket and put it in the machine.
Cook the medisterpølse in the air fryer for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.Start the online kitchen timer hereTurn it halfway through cooking if needed for a more even browning.
While the medisterpølse cooks, prepare the 500 g potatoes. Mix the cut potatoes with 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp salt and pepper in a bowl until the potatoes are evenly coated.
When there are about 10 minutes left of the medisterpølse's cooking time, add the potatoes to the air fryer. Spread them evenly in the basket and continue cooking together with the medisterpølse until they are crispy and golden.
In the meantime, you can prepare the brown sauce. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add 2 tbsp plain flour and stir well until it forms a smooth paste and starts to smell lightly toasted.
Gradually add 3 dl beef stock while stirring with a whisk until the sauce starts to thicken and become smooth.
Add 1 dl whipping cream and let the sauce simmer for a couple of minutes until it thickens further. Season with 1 tsp salt and pepper to taste.
When the medisterpølse and potatoes are done, serve them hot with the warm brown sauce on top.
