These crispy, crunchy grissini, baked in an Airfryer, are a quick and easy snack or side dish for any occasion. With their Italian inspiration, these sticks are perfect for dipping in sauces or simply enjoying on their own.
Preheat your airfryer to 180°C.(Preset it, or let it run for a couple of minutes before cooking.)
Mix 250 g wheat flour and 1 tsp salt in a large bowl. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and 125 ml water gradually while you knead the dough, until it becomes smooth and supple.
Divide the dough into smaller pieces. Use a rolling pin to roll each piece out into long, thin sticks, about 1 cm in diameter. If you like, sprinkle with 1 pcs fresh herbs of your choice.
Place baking paper in the bottom of the airfryer and arrange the grissini sticks on the baking paper so they don't touch each other.
Bake the grissini in the airfryer for about 8-10 minutes, or until they're golden and crisp. Keep an eye on them during baking so they don't get too dark.Start the online kitchen timer here
Remove the finished grissini from the airfryer and let them cool on a rack before serving.
Notes
Be careful they don't split open while baking. Keep an eye on them 2 minutes before they're done.
