These crispy spring rolls are made with ready-made filo pastry for ease and speed. Cooked in an air fryer, they're a lighter alternative to the traditionally deep-fried versions, but still just as delicious.
Preheat the air fryer to 190°C.(Preset it, or let it run for a couple of minutes before cooking)
Heat a pan over medium heat, add a little oil and fry the meat until it's almost cooked through.
Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and white cabbage to the pan and fry until the vegetables have softened. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.Season with salt and pepper. Let the filling cool.
Place a tablespoon of the filling on each sheet of filo pastry, fold in the edges and roll up tightly.
Brush the rolled spring rolls with oil and place them in the air fryer basket without them touching each other.
Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until they're golden and crispy, turning halfway through cooking.Start the online kitchen timer here

Notes
-Spring rolls can be filled with a range of ingredients to taste, such as prawns, tofu for a vegetarian version, or various vegetables.-Filo pastry dries out quickly, so keep it covered with a damp cloth while you work.
