These crispy Parmesan potatoes made in the air fryer are an easy and delicious dish that works perfectly as a side for various main courses or as a stand-alone snack. With a combination of crispiness and flavour from Parmesan cheese, this quickly becomes a favourite in the kitchen.
Wash and scrub 500 g potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into wedges or cubes according to preference.
Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix the potato wedges with 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1 tsp Salt and pepper. Stir well, so that all potato pieces are coated.
Add Parmesan:
Add the freshly grated 50 g Parmesan cheese to the bowl and mix again, so the cheese is evenly distributed over the potatoes.
Prepare the Air Fryer:
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.Line the basket with baking paper for easy cleaning. (Preheat it, or let it run for a couple of minutes before cooking)
Cooking:
Place the potato wedges in an even layer in the air fryer. Cook them for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.Start online kitchen timer
Serving:
Take the potatoes out of the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.Garnish with 1 bunch Fresh parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme for extra flavour.- Parmesan potatoes can be served with a dip of crème fraîche mixed with a little lemon juice and garlic.
