3: Information About the Air Fryer Size for the Recipes

All our recipes are developed for a standard air fryer with a capacity of around 6.2 liters, specifically the Cosori Premium II Plus – See it here.

Cosori Premium II Plus – 6,2-liters.

This means our recipes are designed to deliver optimal results with air fryers of this size. If you have a smaller or larger air fryer, you may need to adjust the amount of ingredients or the cooking time to adapt the recipe to your appliance’s size.

3.1 How to Adjust the Portion Size

You have three options for adjusting the size of the recipes:

1: Change the number of servings. At the top of the recipe you’ll find the button to adjust the number of servings the dish is intended for. You can easily change the number of servings up or down. The amount of ingredients will then automatically adjust to your choice.

2: Change the amount of ingredients. Under the “Ingredients” section you can easily change the amount of ingredients up or down. Just press the 0.5x button to halve the amount, or 2x to double the amount of ingredients. The amount of ingredients will then automatically adjust to your choice. Note: If you choose the 0.5x button, virtually all our recipes will fit in a 4-liter air fryer.

3: Change the size and shape of your baking pan. At the bottom of the “Ingredients” section you can adjust the size of your baking pan. You can choose whether it should be round or square, and change the size in cm. This applies to length, width, height and diameter. The amount of ingredients will then automatically adjust to your choice. Note: This is only possible in recipes where we’ve used a baking pan.

4: Information About Price Estimates for the Recipes

In the recipe you can also see an estimate of the price of making the whole dish. The prices are calculated based on average supermarket prices in 2024.

Note: The price is an estimate and not an exact price. Especially in recent years, food prices have fluctuated significantly, which makes it difficult to calculate the exact daily price for a recipe. Here is an example of a price calculation:

The price of nachos in the air fryer for three people can vary depending on where you buy your ingredients and which specific brands you choose. Here is an average price overview based on common Danish supermarkets in 2024:

Tortilla chips (200 g): DKK 15-20 Grated cheddar cheese (150 g): DKK 15-25 Black beans (100 g): DKK 5-10 Jalapeño (1 pc): DKK 5-10 Corn (100 g): DKK 5-10 Red onion (1 pc): DKK 2-5 Tomato (1 pc): DKK 5-10 Fresh cilantro (1 bunch): DKK 10-15 Avocado (1 pc): DKK 10-15 Sour cream (50 g): DKK 5-10 Total price for the whole dish: Approximately DKK 77-130

This is a rough overview and prices may vary depending on season, store and any sales. If you already have some of the ingredients at home, it can of course be cheaper.

5: How to Use the ADD YOUR OWN NOTES TO THE RECIPE Field

At the end of each recipe you have the option to add your own notes to the recipe. These can be your own notes about allergies, adjusting sizes, adding ingredients, or whatever else you might want to add as notes. You don’t need to be logged in to use the feature. Your information is saved until you delete your cookies for the website.

6: Information About Preheating the Air Fryer

Although some of our recipes may recommend preheating the air fryer, it’s not always a requirement. However, preheating can be an advantage for certain recipes, as it can help achieve more even cooking and a crispier texture. We recommend that you follow the instructions in the individual recipes regarding preheating.

7: Information About Using Oil in the Air Fryer

Many of our recipes call for using a little oil in the bottom of your air fryer, or on the ingredients you use. We usually recommend a little oil so the ingredient doesn’t stick and releases more easily, but also because our experience is that a little oil on top of a food gives increased crispiness. However, it’s not a requirement. You can easily prepare your food in your air fryer without using oil, since most have a non-stick coating.

8: Information About Air Fryer Accessories

Air fryers are incredibly versatile, and there’s a wide selection of accessories that can expand your cooking experience.

Some popular types of accessories include:

    • Baskets and trays for different types of cooking
    • Silicone molds for baking
    • Skewers for meat and vegetables
    • Divider plates that make it possible to cook multiple dishes at the same time

It’s certainly not a requirement for using your air fryer. But these types of accessories can help you make the most of your air fryer and experiment with a wide range of recipes.
