Welcome to my cookies section! My name is Morten from airfryerkogebogen.dk, and I’d love to show you just how amazing your airfryer is at conjuring up sweet, crunchy delights. I’ve spent countless hours kneading, baking, and tasting everything from cookies to oatmeal biscuits to build the very best first-hand experience. Whether you’re dreaming of chewy chocolate chip cookies, crispy biscotti, or classic Christmas cookies, I’ve done the groundwork for you.
When baking cookies, the precise balance between time and heat is absolutely crucial. To make sure you get a reliable and perfect result every time, I only share recipes that I have put a great deal of effort and originality into developing myself. You can confidently rely on my expertise – I’ll guide you past the pitfalls so you can easily serve irresistible cookies to those you love.
Skipping the traditional oven when a sweet craving strikes is sheer genius. Here’s why the airfryer is my favourite partner in the sweet kitchen:
Yes, I strongly recommend it! Cookie dough is often very soft, and without baking paper you risk the dough melting down through the rack during baking. Just remember to cut the baking paper to size so it only covers the bottom beneath the cookies and still lets the air circulate freely around the sides.
Because the airfryer uses a powerful fan, very light cookies can shift slightly. My best tip is to press them down gently onto the baking paper and leave plenty of space between them so they don’t bake together in the basket.
Right when you take them out of the basket, they will often feel very soft in the middle – just like in a regular oven. The secret to the perfect result is to let them rest and cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes. That’s when they set and develop that perfect crispy snap.
