Since the rack has holes, my most reliable trick is to use a small heatproof bowl, a small tart pan, or a silicone mold that fits down in the basket. Lightly grease the mold, crack the eggs in, and give them a few minutes – then you get a fantastic, fluffy omelette or perfectly baked eggs.
Yes, absolutely! However, my experience is that bacon often requires slightly less time than thick brunch sausages. A safe tip is to start the sausages first and then add the bacon during the last 7-8 minutes of the cooking time, so everything is piping hot and finished at exactly the same time.
The active time is much shorter! The actual cooking time may be similar to the pan, but because the machine heats up instantly and you do not have to stand there constantly turning things, you save an incredible amount of energy and time in the morning.
