Welcome to my snack section! I’m Morten from airfryerkogebogen.dk, and I love being able to whip up something delicious whenever a little craving strikes. I’ve spent countless hours testing everything from roasted almonds and spiced chickpeas to crunchy vegetable chips straight from my Airfryer. Through my direct first-hand experience, I’ve pinpointed exactly the methods that deliver the ultimate deep-fryer crispness – but with a clear conscience.
When a snack craving hits, things need to move quickly, but the result still has to be top-notch. To make sure you get the best experience, I share only my own honest expertise and thoroughly tested recipes here on the site. I’ve put a great deal of effort into cracking the code for the perfect snacks, so you can confidently trust that my guides are accurate and reliable every single time.
Moving snack production over to the Airfryer turns ordinary ingredients into irresistible everyday favorites. Here are the reasons it’s my absolute favorite method:
Because the Airfryer’s fan is incredibly powerful, very light leaves will often whirl up into the heating element and burn on. My most tested trick is to place a small metal rack or a splatter guard over the chips in the basket to keep them safely in place throughout the entire bake.
Yes, they do! The secret behind my success with vegetable chips is to slice them paper-thin (ideally on a mandoline), dry them incredibly thoroughly in a clean dish towel and only toss them in a tiny bit of oil. Give them plenty of room in the basket so the air can do its job.
Absolutely. Almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts all turn out fantastic. My experience tells me, however, that nuts can quickly go from roasted to burnt because they contain a lot of natural fat. Lower the temperature a touch and shake the basket often for a perfect and reliable result.
