Why Make Mississippi Mud Pie in the Air Fryer?
Making Mississippi Mud Pie in an air fryer offers several advantages. First, an air fryer is much faster than a traditional oven. It typically takes only 25-30 minutes to bake the cake in an air fryer, compared to 45-50 minutes in an oven. This saves time and makes it easier to make the dessert on a busy day.
Another advantage is the even heat distribution in an air fryer. Air fryers use hot air that circulates around the food, ensuring the cake bakes evenly. This reduces the risk of burnt edges or an undercooked center. In addition, an air fryer uses less energy than an oven, making it a more energy-efficient choice.

On top of the crust is a layer of rich chocolate, which can vary in texture from a thick ganache to a fudgy brownie. Some recipes also include a layer of chocolate pudding or mousse.

Who Invented It and Where Does the Cake Come From?
